"Sand and Foam" - Round and Round's First Anniversary Special Exhibition"
Though I have exhausted my heart for that tiny grain of sand,
Though I have poured the essence of my spirit into that fleeting foam,
Yet, compared to the vastness of the sea,
It remains closer to the shore than the ocean itself.
And compared to the ineffable encounter,
It remains closer to the finite yearning."
A person-
As small as a grain of sand.
A dream-
As ephemeral as foam.
Yet, the distance between sand and foam
Can be bridged by human passion.
To be "small" is not to be indifferent to one's aspirations.
Rather, it is precisely because we are small that we are both the sand and the sea.
So, pursue everything you love without hesitation.
"For if you sing of beauty, even in the heart of the desert,
you will have an audience"
This unwavering pursuit of beauty has led Round and Round to its first anniversary.
We are incredibly fortunate to invite glass artists Mayuko Ogawa and Natsumi Sunada
To present this special anniversary exhibition, "Sand and Foam."
Gazing upon their works,
One self finds itself on the shallow shores where Sunada sensei grew up,
The waves gently lapping, leaving behind countless colorful shells.
Another self sits beside Ogawa-sensei,
Sharing quiet dreams from the depths of the heart.
And turning once more,
There are now more listeners, more companions along the journey.
Beyond gratitude, there is only infinite gratitude.
Kahlil Gibran once wrote:
"Art is a step from nature toward the infinite."
Perhaps, over the past year and in the years to come,
This is the path Round and Round wishes to keep moving forward on.
"Sand and Foam" is an anniversary exhibition-
A reflection of our hearts and the path we walk forward.
Exhibition Period: March 7-9, 12:00-8:00 PM daily
Online Sales: Opens on the third day of the exhibition,
